I am POA for a nursing home patient. Medicaid is paying for the NH. Do I have authority to spend his pension funds?

He has a checking account into which his pension checks are deposited. Do I have authority to spend his pension funds. He gifted me that money.

Mamachick, any money the nursing home patient receives, while being on Medicaid, is suppose to go directly for that patient's care.

Sorry, I never heard of anyone gifting a pension fund.
