I am 87-years-old and pay $700 per month in property taxes. Can I get this reduced?

I am 87-years-old and had a car accident. This is 4 surgeries later.  I love my house and pay $700 in property taxes a month. Can I get it reduced..because of my age and the severe accident I was wondering if the state because of my age and unable to work because of hip and knee replacements could reduce the property taxes?
