Casey, the vast majority of adult children are not paid for taking care of their parent, unless the parent can pay you from their own retirement funds.
Now, if your Dad is on Medicaid [which is different from Medicare] check with your State to see if there is a program where you could earn some extra money, but note it will be minimal.
