How do I get Mom's state guardian revoked? They do nothing to take care of her.

My mother, who has Alzheimer's, has a state guardian for her person and her finances. They do nothing to take care of her at all. They have been by to see her once. She's had a chronic toothache and they will not pay for it. They have not paid her health insurance and will not reach out to me, her daughter. I have power of attorney, but that doesn't seem to have any weight.

I have no idea how to do this. Will answer to keep your question rotating. If it were me I would look up your states rules on guardianship and call a NAELA attorney. I suspect, and perhaps unfairly, that she needed help at some point and you were out of the picture and that's when the guardian was appointed??
