How to handle a family member stealing medication narcotics?

elder abuse stealing medication narcotics

Has anyone tried a 'nanny-camera' to record such abuses? Is it legal,
and does it cost a lot to buy one? My daughter in law helps herself to
some of my meds sometimes, but I can never prove it.

So, could you call Adult Protective Services and tell them the story? The elderly lady needs to be moved into a better living situation for sure. What is your relationship? Are you a caregiver? If you are a caregiver and work for an agency, be sure and report this to your superiors.
