Oh, MaryTheresa. The thinking she's only been with you a short time, that resonates with me: "we won't be staying here, will we?"

How are you two, you and your husband, holding up? Any chance of a break coming up?

Keep her away from caffeinated drinks like coffee or cola. Offer an evening snack, like pie or ice cream or 3oz of red wine. Wine always mellowed mom out, so I kept the small 6 oz bottles in stock for her. We would split the bottle and she would rosy up and relax.

she lives with me and my husband. has for 3 yrs. She thinks she is going home and that she has only been her a few days. Of course the evenings are the worst..sundowning. She has very high anxiety. She is progressing . I guess I am very burnt out these last few days:( she can barley walk hip and back but refuses walker. She is unreasonable at times. My brother thinks I should agree with everything she says...hard to do when at times she is very lucid. I think it is manipulation. Have meds for her anxiety but that knocks her out. I guess I just needed to vent to people that understand.
