Looking for a place for my mother. She is 72, and her apartment is full of black mold. She has emphysema and stage 4 kidney failure. She has been in remission from cancer for 15 years and 14 years stroke free. We need to get her out of her apartment. She is physically capable of living alone, but only makes about $800 on social security. She is getting medical aid from the county as well as food assistance.

As for an apartment, check with your local Council on Aging and see if there are any senior apartments in your area... senior apartment usually charge rent based on one's income.
