You can also contact hospitals, nursing homes, AL and IL facilities in the area. Do the same kind of Google search: "Assisted Living, McAllen, Texas"....etc.
Sometimes these care homes have various support groups and limited outreach programs.
No one here would have that kind of detailed information unless they live in those areas specifically, and it does require a commitment of time to do the research.
You can also ask the local senior centers, or perhaps some of the RV parks. There used to be some Winter Texan/Snowbird RV parks in that area of Texas.
