I want her to live at home with a room setup as a hospital room. Hospice at home, medicare and private aides, metlife long ter care insurance. Still hard tp pay for. There is no other option .... going home
I am so sorry the two of you are dealing with this very challenging diagnosis. What will Metlife cover? You mention hospice. Is your wife at that point now, or are you just planning ahead?
My husband also had LBD. He remained at home with me for the 10-year journey, including hospice. It can be done. Make sure you have plenty of help and that you get some respite for yourself once in a while.
