My husband (68) has mild dementia. Could we start a discussion about our situations with our spouses?

My husband has dementia also. I have known it for about 3 years. First he stopped going to his weekly card game and than he stopped going out to Saturday lunch with the guys. The memory loss is there ,the remote and he fight daily.
