My hubby is in a ward with other people in with all different named dementia but they all act the same. Why?

Can someone tell me why that is. Why do they have a different name if they all act the same???????

All of the dementias involve trauma to the brain and therefore can have similar symptoms. In fact brain injury from an accident, tumors or lack of oxygen also can cause symptoms of dementia. The difference would be in the progression of the disease and the treatment options available.

Daisy, I suspect you've come unchained.
