Contact your local Area on Aging. I went to a seminar last week and they have a Senior Building program that would do just what you need.

You can buy metal ramps for steps and door sills. The company that sold you the chair should have them in stock. They can come out and fit a ramp to your house. You can also order them online, but there would be the problem of making sure you get the right size -- particularly for your door sill -- and having someone to set it up safely. Before doing this, make sure that your neighborhood sidewalks will allow a chair to ride. Some sidewalks are so uneven that it is nearly impossible to use a chair on them. It is the case in our neighborhood.

Sunny, you mentioned in your profile that you live in Independent Living.... I am really surprised that the complex doesn't have handicapped features for its residents.

Or are you living in your own home, not in a building? Some places sell portable ramps to place on a front entrance, but it would all depend on how many steps there are to your front door if you could safely use a ramp. Or you may need to have a ramp custom built, you would need to check with your town's zoning to see what all is involved and if it is allowed in your neighborhood [depends on the house set back from the street if there would be enough room.
