How can I get some income taking care of my elderly parents and living with me?

I have to return to work. My parents moved in with me 2years ago dad is confined to wheelchair and on diapers mom cant remember to give and take the medications or turn off the lights. they cannot be left alone. I have been out of work for that reason which has put a lot of stress on me. they do not qualify for Medicaid by two hundreds dollars. I want to care for my parents but, I need some income to pay my bills.

Up in the search box, type in "getting paid." You will see how often this question is asked. Any good answers that anyone has is there. Basically we all say "Do not quit your job." But, that isn't any help to you. Have you talked to a nursing home administrator?

My mother is 96 and I am happy with her care at a small nursing home.

I am wondering, did your parents care for their own parents in their old age? Most of us on here are well into our 60s and can't care for anyone 24/7. Good luck. I hope you find some help.
