Do they have day cares for people with mental illness?

If a caregiver needs a rest for a couple of days, is there a place for the patient to get care????

NAMI is a good resource. Respite care and psychosocial clubhouse are other options I hope you have in your area. Repiste can be overnight. Psychosocial clubhouse is a day program.

Yes, there is something called respite care in New Jersey. Names vary in different states, you could Google search or look in your local phone book. Good luck:)

Here's a resource that may help lead you in the right direction - NAMI, the national alliance for the mentally ill. I hope this helps.

Overnight care is called respite care and there are also day programs. In addition to county social services you can also call the largest mental health provider in your community. Does the person you care for work with a mental health provider? They can usually connect you with social services.

Yes, contact your county office for the disabled or social services.
