Where do I find info in PA about posting my neighbor caregiver through Medicare?

I am a 44.yr old who gets care from a neighbor friend. I can't drive due to seizures. Have 3-5 appts a week. Need assistance with personal hygiene and meal preparation. I also have 2 dogs. She assists me with everything. About 30+ hours a week

MediCAre does not ever pay for "companion" services, which is what your neighbor does. Depending on your state, MedicAid **might** pay for that, but first you must apply for, and qualify for, MedicAid or Medical Assistance. Contact your county Dept of Social Services (welfare office) to see if you qualify. The rules are you cannot have any more than $2, 000 in the bank and very limited income. Good luck.

I'm not sure what you are asking. Contact your local Area Agency on Aging or local Department of Social Services, there may be programs that you would be eligible for and your neighbor can get paid to care for you.

Do you mean paying?

I don't really understand what you mean about posting your neighbor? Can you explain or rephrase a little more?
