How long do you find a person with FTD Dementia been able to live after diagnosis?

I am starting to suspect a person diagnosed with FTD Dementia can live tens of years after diagnosis.

So lanejohn you look at facilities for this person, because caring for them on your own has a 30% chance of killing you first.

From the ALZ website:
Like other types of dementia, FTD shortens lifespan. Studies suggest that most people with FTD survive an average of six to eight years, but survival can range from two to 20 years.
