Why does Mom have a constant runny nose?

Mom is on oxygen 24/7 since she had pneumonia. They increased her to 3 while sleeping and 2 when awake she keeps having to blow her nose. And is constantly bleeding. I thought it dried out the nose hence the bleeding but
