How do we find a MD that can do a diagnostic evaluation?

She is located on SE 39th and Knapp. Am I correct that you can send in someone to do a homecare evaluation?
My relative has Memory Issues and cannot remember to take her Donepezil. Also, she should likely not be driving her car.

Most importantly we need an assessment from a Geriatric Neurologist. Regards: Jill B.

You can also contact her personal physician and request an in home evaluation. Their office will give you the names of in home providers they deal with all the time. In home provides the procedures requested by the doctor and recommends whatever assistance is available for your relative. Good luck!

Jill - if the person is in Independent Living the folks who run the place may know some good contacts. Otherwise Google with the name of your city or town and the phrase "geriatric assessment" and see if there is a good comprehensive program you could get her to. Or call an university-affiliated hospitals and see if they have that service. An Area Agency on Aging would have listings of homecare companies and services too. There are quite a few cities with 39th and Knapp so even Google could not tell me where you are writing from though :-)
