Any ideas on how to keep my Dad's food warm?
He is a very slow eater and I have to warm his plate at least 3 times during a meal.

Can you get something like a platewarmer, a device that plugs into an outlet that would provide warmth to the plate with the food on it? I've seen things like that for coffee cups.
