Where can I buy a tricyle for seniors?

I do not want one that has a basket behind it, but one with the back tires relatively close together. not so heavy..one that has no hand brakes..but one with foot pedals..easy to ride..not too expensive..marymember

I looked on ebay.....there are a lot of choices....I asked to view used ones....there are all kinds of tricycles....some low to the ground...some with extra wide tires...some come with a man(just kidding)...all prices..bidding..new..used...Sears is a good choice.....Walmart has many...bicycle stores a bit pricey....be sure it is put together before you buy..be sure postage is included.....I am still looking...but have almost made a choice..marymember

Pam as always is correct about the pricing and configuration. I tried advertising for one and the furthest I got was a reply from one guy who was also looking and asked if I found two could I let him know.

Wal-Mart has adult trikes on their website. Some stores carry them, about $200.00 if I remember right. I also priced bike shops and those started quite a bit higher.

Any bike store will have one or can order it for you. None will have the rear wheels close together, that would make the trike unstable and easy to tip. You can choose between hand brakes, coaster brakes and one speed, three speed or even ten speed. Rear fenders are extra, so are lights and a horn. Try Walmart or Ebay or garage sales. They weigh about 70-75 lbs, Prices for a new one range from $300-900.
