What expenses for caring for Dementia patients are tax deductible?

Memory Care in a licensed facility that is ordered by an MD would be deductible only for the patient receiving the care.

For whom? The patient can deduct MEDICAL expenses, NOT companions, housekeepers, cooks or chauffeurs. But if you mean expenses for another person/family member, you deduct absolutely nothing.
