My Dad's the POA for his sister. Can he appoint his daughter to take over. Any advice?

Dad's sister has dementia. He lost his wife and really health wise can not handle this anymore, he would like to appoint me (daughter) to take over, can he give me this authority through an attorney? please advise

Yes your Aunt would have to change the POA herself..through the Attorney

No he cannot, his sister would have to draw up a new POA.
