Both parents have dementia; I am so tired of being the caregiver. I wish I were dead; this is hell on earth.

Mom is 90 and in NH, dad is 94 and husband & I are full time live-in caregivers. It is exhausting, unrelenting and so utterly lonely I could scream.

I wish for death every single day. This is no life. I am filled with anger, sorrow and hopelessness. There is no light at the end of the tunnel, nothing to look forward to but more unhappiness and lonliness and I hate living.

Honey, you just hang in there til Monday morning and call the county office of the aging to see if you can get them into a nursing home. And call their doctor to see if they qualify for Hospice or Visiting nurses. You don't have to go it alone, reach out for help.
