When Mom moves to Cherry Hill, NJ, would she need to transfer all benefits and services she received from PCA?
If Philadelphia Corporaton for Aging has partial guardianship of mom and she relocate to cherry hill, will PCA still be handling mom ssi and security benefits once she has moved to New Jersey?
They will continue to be guardians, they are a private non-profit. If she is moving to a partner agency in New Jersey, paperwork will be coordinated prior to her move. Guardian or co-guardians are appointed by the Superior Court, only the court can modify or change the guardianship order.
