Storage funds late and facing auction of belongings. Can Department on Aging stop the auction?

I was evicted from my apartment in January. The Housing Authority moved all my possessions into a large storage garage (Extra Space) in West Chester. My fiance and I moved things into a smaller unit, but have still encountered problems with monthly payments. We are still homeless after all these many months. I have an uninsured, disabled (she won't go this route & admit it) daughter in New Jersey with ovarian cancer. As you can imagine, funds are in short supply. The storage company has given notice that they are going to sell off my furniture, clothes, and treasured items this Saturday to "recover" the unpaid two (2) months rent, and fees, totalling $415.00. Is there any way the Dept. of Aging, or anybody, can intervene & stop this auction? I will be able to pay thia amount out of my meager Dec. Social Security check, God willing. Needless to say wedding plans for this Spring are jeopardized.
