Mom had stroke and spent 60 days in rehab that pushed her out to soon. Dad having trouble caring for her. What are options

she is going back to another rehab for remainer of 100 days allowed by medicare. not sure what needs will be after but need help determining options. want to keep parents together- hes fit but with her having some paralysis needs help w care. financially recieves he recvs pension and both ss. she has additional medical insurance he uses va

Have you thought about keeping them together in an assisted living facility? If he gets a pension and SS, he may be able to afford it. They give a certain number of hours of care per day. If it isn't enough, Medicare will often pay for a visiting nurse for a while as well. That way they could stay together, but he'd have help. Depending on how many resources they have (money), the VA will also help with the costs if he qualifies.
