Is it better for my dementia dad at home but at day care, or rehab or to be in a senior retirement house?

I'd say as many days at day care as possible until he becomes too far along in his dementia to benefit - OR until you can no longer care for him whether that's for your sake or his, no matter where he is in his diagnosis. Then you should look for a nursing home. Good luck,
