Mom still not sleeping with antihistamine...have heard lots of good things about melatonin. Her MD "scoffs" at this, but she continues to toss and turn at night. Is it ok to give her melatonin in addition to the antihistamine prescribed by MD? Thank you.

Why not try her pharmacist? He or she may be able to tell you if there is any interaction with melatonin and her other medications. Pharmacists are drug specialists, so they can be a super resource.
