Where do I start on bringing relative from Florida to Wisconsin to be near remaining relatives?
Aunt in florida with no relatives to take care of her. We need to bring her to Wisconsin to be able to take care of her. Currently in nursing home in Florida. Where to start the process.
How well is she able to travel? If not, you will need a medical transport and hopefully, the NH can help you with that. Does your aunt want to move? Is she able to make any decisions on her own?
My father in law moved his elderly mother from IL. to AZ., to be with him and it was a disaster. She quickly became disoriented and showed signs of dementia. He had to buy first class tickets and fly her back to IL., where she did fairly well in a NH.
