I am looking for an easy to use CD player with speakers that has an on and off button and sound control.

My mother is 92 years old, is in early stages of dementia, and is almost blind from macular degeneration. I would like to find something that she can use that won't confuse her. She does have small transistor radios, but I would like to get CD's of the music she listened to when she was young. Does anyone know where I can find such a CD player? Any other suggestions? I have been looking but I am getting frustrated. Thanks for any help you can give.

Look at those make for children, at the toy store websites.

I got CDs from Amazon with music from the years my husband was a teen and young adult. He really loved listening to that music! I hope you succeed in getting something you mother can play.
