Can my mom get VA benefits for assisted living if she and dad were divorced and neither remarried?
They were married for 35 years and neither remarried.

I am not an expert, but I believe that the VA benefits to the spouse end upon divorce. It would be best to speak with someone in the VA office to make sure this is correct.
