Good morning everyone,

Over the weekend, we experienced a technical issue that prevented users from logging into the AgingCare site. The issue was fixed, but some users did not regain access immediately. Our development team did a sweep for affected users yesterday and restored their access.

If you were having issues logging in, a simple password reset will get you back into your account.

Some profile pages were showing 404 errors as part of this issue. These profile pages have been restored.
If you have further issues with seeing your profile page or logging into your account, please use the “Send Us a Message” form on this page to let us know: agingcare.com/aboutus

Updates on other fixes:
Our automatic spam blocker has been extra sensitive as of late and some users have been incorrectly blocked from posting. A fix for this is being coded and should be ready in approximately 2 weeks (allow a few extra days for testing and troubleshooting). If you feel you’ve been blocked in error, please use the “Send Us a Message” form on this page to let us know: agingcare.com/aboutus.

Message deletion is down on profile pages. A fix for this will be coded after the work on the spam blocker.

Additionally, our roadmap for the future includes building a messaging "block" feature, to stop messages from people you don't want to hear from.
In the meantime, you can hide the public messages other users have left on your wall by going to agingcare.com/profile/privacy and turning off “Show Public Messages” in your privacy settings.

We appreciate your patience, and the support you show one another on AgingCare.

Yes, I did have problems yesterday, and was getting exactly what cwillie was, the "503errors" message, so it was apparently a site problem. Hopefully you are getting in today Lealonnie? I am not having a problem today.

Geaton777, I believe we've solved the issue for that specific post. However, we are still in the process of resolving the larger issue causing these issues across the forum.

The AgingCare team will continue to update here as we have more information. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this technical issue.

Regards,
AgingCare Team

Forum members,

It's come to our attention that an issue has been identified where links to questions posted to the forum are not working. We have not yet identified the cause of the issue, but are working to resolve it.

Thank you for your patience as we look into this issue. We will keep the forum informed as we can here in this discussion.

Thank you,
AgingCare Team

cwillie, thanks for that link and I did just write the admins on it.
Sad to see at least six questions with no responses now sinking to page two not because no one wants to respond but because no one CAN respond.
As to the "contact us" link......I have tried that several times about several issues and never heard a thing back.
Today I started reporting our links about this issue, as reporting does seem to get things at least looked at.
Meanwhile, good luck to anyone with any question for us, hee hee.

I just emailed them because of 3 that just came up.

Repeatedly posting here is not guaranteed to get noticed, they said at the beginning this thread isn't monitored.... IMO it's mostly just a way to check whether others are having the same issues.
If you really want a response contact AgingCare directly through the Contact Us link, or try contacting the mods at

Wag got through to us, Daisy. Thanks for reporting. Looks like that issue is settled.
I am still unable to answer an question with 0 answers, so that's still an issue. I don't think AC is reading this thread anymore as there's been no response over a week to this. Alas.

Now this a.m., Geaton's post to us about Turmeric and its effect on the liver can't be accessed by me. I just get "technical error" report.

Hm, still glitchy for me this a.m. Geaton, I was unable to answer the question from the Canadian looking for an alternating pressure overlay for a recliner.

Geaton:
You are correct. It is random. I cannot this a.m. get into any question that has 0-responses. We have no been discussing this since the weekend.
I have no idea if any admins are watching.
We know they are there SOMEWHERE as they are wanting us to take a survey, but they don't seem to do oversite much on the threads, nor read this thread anymore.

Hoping they will eventually come to some knowledge it isn't working well, or that it will self-correct. Perhaps it has to get worse before it gets better. Time will tell.

This a.m. I was able to comment on a 0-answers question. Hopefully fixed.

I no longer have the AgingCare menu items on the top or my profile icon which I can click on in the upper right corner. This is on mobile version. Maybe it’s just me?🧐

Not here so it's not universal and I see other people posting. Strange!

Needs fixing for sure.

Yup, it seems to be a continuing problem with the new posts.

Alva, I'm not if I just post some quick on a post with 0 answer, would that help you?

Admins:
Second day I cannot respond to questions that have 0 responses. When I click on the question it simply goes back to the thread with questions on it, not the question I clicked on.
Apparently others having the problems as well.

Having same issue as Alva. If there are 0 postings it won't allow me to access the question. Happened this morning and just now.

2:50 p.m. PT and it's a mess. I can't access anything with 0 responses. And when I do access to answer I get the old whoops, Kitten page, which I haven't seen in ions. So the site is experiencing some real problems today, it seems.

No problems here so far, but the site was down for maintenance last night for a while. I don't worry about it. There are glitches once on a while like bumps in a road.
