Any advice? how can I find a respite care facility that can watch mom for a few days so I can get a mini vacation? Need a break. She needs 24 hr nursing care. Would like too ease her into long term care. in nyc all answers were she would only get into a facility after a hospital admission. ?????
Hi I’m very overwhelmed. work full time mon-fri but work 7 days taking care of my mother who is a 15 yr stroke pt who is extremely depressed and never accepted her disability. She has been with me for 1yr and it’s been a nightmare.
