Medicare Nursing Home Compare tool at Medicare.gov
I'm not yet old enough to be on Medicare but I just read that there's a nursing home comparison tool that gives ratings. If you plug in a zip code it will bring up every Medicare and Medicaid approve facility in that area.
GA, I've only been on this forum since summer 2019 but I've never seen this tool mentioned. Just wanted to make sure I was putting out useful info. Thanks for your additional input!
Geaton, thanks for sharing. I did use that feature back in 2003-4 and later when I had to find specific rehabs for my father, ones with speech pathologists and dysphagia specialists.
It was of great help; lots of tedious research, but it narrowed down the potential rehab facilities and saved time and travel.
