This is not a question but, rather, a wonderful new resource I found for all of us!

Go to Youtube and look up TEEPA SNOW. She is a dementia and Alzheimers specialist who works with dementia/Alz patients brilliantly. Her videos have greatly helped me to cope with the decline and changes in my mother, understand the dementia brain, and shown me how to implement her strategies in dealing with my stubborrn mother. Since I found this resource, I am much more relaxed in dealing with my daily life with Mom. Beat wishes to all of you.

Thanks, Dexieboy! I've been seeing the occasional mention of Teepa Snow here and there on this forum for awhile but never bothered to check her out on YouTube. I just watched her video on YouTube titled "Calming and Comforting a Person Living with Dementia". Wow! So insightful.

Thanks for prompting me to finally check her out!
