I took my Mom is last week for dehydration, UTI and fecal impaction. She is doing better, but she has a bacteria that can only be treated by IV antibiotics so she will have to go to a skilled nursing while being treated. I feel sad that she will be going to one of those facilities, but it will only be for a little bit, and I should be happy to get some respite. I guess I just feel guilty.
You're doing the best you can for your mom. It's hard. We are all only human and need respite when we can get it. I hope your mom is feeling better soon. Take care.
