I ask because I do not believe the staff from 10pm - 6am checks like they are supposed to per the facility. Anyone can check a chart off in the office and say they peeked in on resident. I want a chart in each room that has to be initialed with time. When I check my camera I see my husband roaming around room knocking to get out from 5:45am - 7:20 am and no one checks.

He has also been found not changed by the extra caregiver I hire for 7 hrs a day which has been wonderful for him.

Your father is locked in his room! I am not sure if that is legal. It's a fire hazard. Thats what night time aids are there for. To make sure residents don't wander. At 5:45 to 7am, it may be during shift change. All u can do is talk to the RN in charge. She oversees the aides. I really am not sure if once a resident is in bed, aides go in and check on them to see if they are wet. Maybe just look in to see if they are asleep and OK.
