I find 1500 a lot of money for a room and you expect someone to help you. Where I live you can get a nice one bedroom apartment for that.
If you are looking for a companion/aide, better check your Labor laws. Live-in caregivers get room and board as part of the deal. At least minimum wage and your responsible for payroll taxes because the IRS does not consider aids as self-employed. Andwhat happens if it does not work out? Better have a contract.
I wouldn't do this. It gets messy and it comes down to renters/tenants rights once you move someone in. It can be difficult to move them out when/if needed.
Room and board is not usually counted as part of salary. It also causes tons of problems with the person claiming residency if they are the only one there.
