So I'm trying to work on collecting the statements and receipts for the past few months as I am currently being investigated for alleged financial abuse. I was wondering if an excel spreadsheet is generally made or does one give the statements and receipts?

I would think all of the above; statements and receipts, & spreadsheets. I would bring everything I had. The spreadsheet is too unofficial; anyone can make a spreadsheet to suit their needs- statements and receipts are more factual.
