Need mover for a hospital bed from one home to another home residence.

Hello, it depends on the bed. If the bed is the one most often seen , supplied by Medicare or Medicaid, the brown bed with open springs and a had crank, you only need two men, and it's fairly easy to move. Post an ad in Nextdoor, or Facebook Marketplace or Taskrabbit.

If it's a real hospital bed, get the model number and brand. Then do a search to get it's weight. Measure it's width against your doorways.
For example, my hospital bed is a Hill Rom model p7500 and it weighs over 700 lbs. It has to be put on its side to go through the doorways. It took 6 strong men and Dolly's, and special straps/lifts to move it.

They can't be too hard to put together. I worked for a loan closet. We loan out the beds but the client had to put them together.

I'd also contact the locally owned movers in town. Tell them your situation.
I've had things like this moved and set up for around $200.

I would contact some medical supply company in your area and ask. I would also put an ad in your local NextDoor requesting someone experienced in the movement of a heavy bed. I really cannot imagine anything other than a professional mover to contact in your area, but wish you best of luck. Given we are just caregivers located all round the world I'm afraid we would be facing same question in your circumstances; I hope others here have a better idea than I do.
