Has anyone had to deal with a court appointed guardian who is in violation of duties required?

She has disposed of/trashed all of her property, denying her even precious photos & Fathers, Mothers & sons ashes. She has failed to pursue monies owed to her, $'s stolen by a POA.

I am dealing with one now refusing to pay my dads medical bills its inhumane and horrible, i notified the court and ai am having the facility call adult protective. I think this is a violation of their fiduciary duty. Its been a nightmare!

Is this court appointed guardian also a family member?

AlvaDeer Jul 5, 2025
Your access is the courts themselves to request they have oversight on the guardian. You can attend an attorney to find out what options you have on going to court.

Each state has an agency that you can file a formal complaint with. Some of these court appointed GALs are truly awful. Good luck :)

I would think she has someone over her. There is someone she answers to.
