My wife with Parkinson’s has developed incontinence at night while asleep. Her urologist has advised taking Gemtesa. Anyone have experience with using this medication for this particular problem?
My late husband tried all of the active bladder medications available at the time(not Gemtesa though) and never had any luck with them, but he had vascular dementia as well. He also had Botox put into his bladder to try and help, which it didn't, and ended up having to get a supra pubic catheter put in. Perhaps a Purewick system might be better solution for your wife now. I wish you well in getting this figured out for your wife.
