Find Care & Housing
Others have made good suggestions: anti-strip clothing, pads for the bed... I would also suggest making it harder to disconnect the bag from the foley catheter. You can try a device used in hospitals that tapes to his leg and holds the catheter closer to his body. You can also try using "silk tape" (the fabric tape used in hospitals) to tape the connections more securely. Last resort would be to place lightweight mittens on his hands to make it harder to manipulate the catheter.

I would also add bed pads as a second layer of protection. Some people can pull off their adult diaper through the antistrip sleepwear. The bed pad can be placed under a sheet to make it less detectable should the person object to it (in which case a supply of cheap replacement sheets is also needed). Stay strong, I hope you have some support.

You can talk to his urologist about having a permanent catheter(supra pubic)placed. It is done surgically and the catheter is placed right above the belly button and your husband will not be able to pull it out as it has a balloon filled with saline solution to keep it in.
My late husband had one for the last 2 years of his life and it served its purpose well.
I don't know if that is helpful as you say that your husband is pulling the catheter bag off. I'm not sure how that can be done quite honestly as the tubing and bag are all connected, so I can only guess that he's just pulling everything off including the catheter itself.

He has a suprapubic catheter. It is attached with either a leg strap or stabilization device. He pulls off the tape or Velcro and yanks the tube leading to the bag from the attachment at the catheter.
