My dad and I had fun batting a large balloon (filled with air not helium) around. Good exercise but it also always made us laugh. Extra fun if it’s a balloon of a favorite team or cartoon character or in the shape of a football, etc.
That depends on how severe their visual impairment is - if they enjoy card games there are playing cards that have large, simplified faces, my grandmother enjoyed dominoes (again, adaptive ones are available) but my mom wouldn't have been able to see those. Many board games can be played if someone is willing to help move the playing pieces, read the clues etc. There's a reason most senior's homes have bingo days, it's an easy game to follow and you can buy or make up extra large playing cards.

1. Dominoes with raised dots. Use large print, high contrast dominoes with raised dots to help them feel the patterns.
2. Play card games using braille or tactile cards. Simple games like War or Go Fish work well.
