BLG2024 Asked December 2024

My 99 year old mom has been having TIAs. I don't want to put her through MRIs and exams. Is it ok to just let things move along?

She is on cholesterol meds but otherwise has been healthy.

At 99 let her be.

Absolutely. Wishing you peace. You might want to contact hospice to see if they can assist you in keeping her comfortable.

I’d forget the cholesterol meds and leave her be. Wishing a peaceful time for you both

Yes, of course. We all come to the end of our lives eventually.

I'd get mom on hospice now to make sure she's kept comfortable in case she starts experiencing pain. Hospice will allow nature to take its course w/o forcing invasive testing on the poor soul.

I'm sorry you're going through all of this. Wishing you peace and strength as you process the upcoming events.

At 99 she does not need to be on Cholesterol medication. I think I would just let her be. Especially if Dementiabis involved.
