I'm caregiving for a deaf and blind man around 90. How can we interact without him hearing and seeing?

Mr. W's wife and son go to church for the first part of my shift. During this part, he tells me to sit down and sit still and that he can't hear me. How can I interact with him and what can We do to pass our time? I normally clean their house. That isn't productive for him though.

This is something to discuss with wife and son upon their return.
Good luck.

Can he read braille?
The National Library Service will send him pretty much any book he wants in braille.

They send you a machine that codes books on tape into braille. They're very expensive machines but it's all free of charge. Call the office for your state and see what they can do for you. They are very helpfull.
