How to set up home to care for incontinent dementia husband?

lealonnie1 Nov 2024
If your husband is at the end of his life, get his PCP to write a hospice evaluation order for him. If he's approved, hospice will bring him a hospital bed and wheelchair, along with all the supplies you need at no cost. Medicare is billed for their services entirely. You'll get an RN to come visit him, and a CNA a couple days a week to bathe him. Incontinence supplies are also provided. Then you can set up the bedroom or the ,giving room for him to stay in.

Best of luck with a difficult situation.
