If your husband is a Veteran the VA may pay you to care for him.
Check with your local Veterans Assistance Commission and they can help determine how much help he may qualify for.

You do not mention your husbands condition or diagnosis but if he is eligible for Hospice you would get all the supplies, equipment that you need to care for him. A Nurse would come at least 1 time a week to check on him, a CNA would come at least 2 times a week to give him a bath, dress him and order supplies.
And you can request a Volunteer that could come and sit with him so you can get out and get some things done.
