My parent almost stole my wonder and curiosity.

I am now almost 60m and they are trying to steal my life again with their sicknesses and childishness

My mom had/has esophageal cancer and my father just had a catheter put in.

They should be in assisted living and get their legal stuff straightened out but they wont

they get hysterical if I bring it up

they funnel money to my sister who treats them like garbage but they both seem to admire her because she makes 6 figures and is phony as hell

They have a huge poster of them with my sister and her kid in their living room

this probably makes no sense

when if ever do you realize you have to walk away?

I skimmed your previous posts. Have you made any changes since you started posting here? You live 1/2 and hour away and was going to start saying no to them...did you ever do that?

Is your father taking care of his catheter?

How often are you going to their place, and what do you do for them while you are there?

It sounds like you are completely miserable, so I would say that it is past time.

What exactly is holding you back from walking away? Are you able to do so?
