What causes a small amount of blood on toilet paper after urinating? I'm 65 years old and had complete hysterectomy over 20 years ago.

Could it be a UTI

Blood = see doctor!

Maybe you are frightened and procrastinating about seeing a doctor. No one really enjoys going to the doctor.

But, the doctor is the only person who can answer your question. Try not to worry at this point in time and make an appointment with your doctor.

Best wishes to you.

Yes, could be a UTI. But whatever it is it is a question for your doc. Don't waste time with us, because you need to be checked out on this one. From the number of times we get this question you are not alone. See the doc, and wish you good luck.

Seriously? People have to stop following google to AgingCare to ask about this issue, it should take less time than it took to sign up to read through the dozens of more relevant web sites, and besides that we are a caregiver forum and we are not going to have an answer for you. If you suspect a UTI see your doctor. If you don't know, see you doctor.

Thats why google sends them to us because this question has been asked before and really she is 65 so Agingcare is appropriate.
